Upcoming Ë¿¹ÏAPP Events

For more than 130 years, we’ve served a diverse body of students as they build on their current professional experiences or begin second careers in our Evening Division. In 2022, Ë¿¹ÏAPP introduced Ë¿¹ÏAPP Pro, a bold, new vision that reimagines our evening program to make it more accessible, flexible, and affordable. Ë¿¹ÏAPP Pro is tailored to the specific needs of 21st century professionals who balance work, home, and school—which means more avenues to law degrees for New Yorkers and beyond.Ìý

The Redesigned Ë¿¹ÏAPP Pro: An Evening Legal Education With Maximum Flexibility

Ë¿¹ÏAPP Pro’s new structure provides a rigorous legal education in a format that meets the needs of working professionals. Our program embraces technology to afford maximum flexibility, providing a mix of in-person and remote courses. Students take the same required classes taught by the same faculty as all other students, ensuring the high-quality Ë¿¹ÏAPP experience.

Ë¿¹ÏAPP Pro students continue to benefit from dedicated and enhanced career counseling and academic support, full access to the Ë¿¹ÏAPP Law ReviewÌýand all Ë¿¹ÏAPP competition teams, and the opportunity to participate in the Dean’s Leadership Council and all student affinity groups.

Like daytime Ë¿¹ÏAPP students, Ë¿¹ÏAPP Pro students are encouraged to enroll in clinics, electives, and externships. Ë¿¹ÏAPP Pro students can also affiliate with one of Ë¿¹ÏAPP’s six academic centers.

Academic planning and professional development are seamlessly integrated at Ë¿¹ÏAPP. Every Ë¿¹ÏAPP Pro student works with a counselor to discuss class schedules, set career goals, explore internship and post-graduation opportunities, and address individual advising questions.

The Structure of Ë¿¹ÏAPP Pro

Ë¿¹ÏAPP Pro students can earn their degrees over the course of eight 14-week-long semesters.
